New Hire Account Setup

Welcome to Cuesta!

To create your Cuesta account, please use the following steps on a device that does not require a Cuesta login:

Go to my.cuesta.edu and select the Forgot Password? link
Enter the username provided by your division
Note: Typical usernames are firstname_lastname, but can vary. For example, common names may be appended by a number (eg. john_smith4)
Select the "Reset Forgotten Password" option
Enter the One Time Passcode (OTP) sent to the listed email/phone number.
If no email or phone number is present, please call us at 805-546-3248 so we can generate a code for you.

For this initial login, you will go through a series of enrollment screens to configure your account and 2-factor authentication. Once that's complete, you're all set! Your username and Cuesta email will then work for signing into Windows, Adobe, Office 365, and more.
